The French Class offers a variety of francophone courses and services. One hour courses take place in a small group setting which is conducive to the learning experience. Private, specialized & workshop services are available on an inbound and outbound basis.

The
Method
Oral – we begin with small brainstorming sessions, encouraging you to use your current grammatical knowledge
Listening - we use auditory videos to train and develop aural comprehension skills
Grammar – we focus on grammatical rules through the use of small exercises and homework
Conversation - we engage in conversation and/or simulation using The French Class curriculum
The
Professor
The French Class is facilitated by Frank Schaldenbrand, MA in Linguistics, Pedagogy, and Teaching French as a Foreign Language from the University of Grenoble. Frank taught French in Grenoble and Antibes before going to work as a director and attaché de cooperation pour le Français in Republique Centre Africaine, Nigeria, Suisse, and Dominican Republic. He also taught at the Alliance Française de Chicago for 5 years; while training university instructors, and Chicago Public School teachers in methodology, before branching out on his own. His impressive experience in Education Science and his passion for teaching will have you speaking in French in no time!
